About Us

Shenge Foundation is an entity that is registered under the South African
Companies act as non-profit companies. The company was founded by Mbukiseni Samuel Buthelezi. This foundation caters to the youth in different communities across the country. We have noted with so much great concern that our youth have been indulged or have found themselves attributing vicious practices being influenced by
certain factors that are resourceful in an arrogant and unaccountable community
leaders, business owners, national political leaders, natural disasters and manufacturing
firms.

Guided by these increasing socio-economic issues, as the national Shenge Foundation, we felt the need to start this initiative to combat these issues.The following incidences were highlighted as the main factors that continuously perpetuate these plights:

We Provide a Holistic and Sustainable Youth Skills Development Programme.

As the Shenge Foundation and the community-centered, youth-driven foundation, we strongly believe that we can curb these challenges because we are the community before this foundation.

We can curb these issues through awareness programs, enforcing environmental policies that regulate the consumption of environment, sponsoring youth activities like soccer, netball, and cultural activities, interacting with community leaders, and having freedom of expression in the decisions taken on behalf of the community.

In every project taking place in the communities, make relationships with certain departments, like the department of transport, to monitor and ensure road regulations are strictly obeyed. And avail us, as the Shenge Foundation, to assist vulnerable individuals in cases of accidents and severe injuries occurring on the roads.

This Foundation Provides Youth Development Services
in Various Communities Throughout the Nation

As the national Shenge Foundation, we felt compelled to launch this initiative in order to address the growing socio-economic problems.The primary causes of these ongoing plights were identified as the following issues.Among these issues are

By working with the department of education or different rural schools, we can make sure that Students receive the necessary skills and educational materials to reach the intended goals. Encourage students by getting them uniforms for school. Ensure that students receive the proper education needed to succeed in the modern workforce.

Education

We provide young people with skills by hosting talent shows where they can showcase their abilities and win prizes.We also want to make sure that the designated youth government agencies are held accountable for carrying out their assigned duties.

Skills

The Shenge Foundation works to protect the environment by implementing national projects in the areas of education, youth development, ecotourism, and the environment.The restoration of ecosystems is the focus of Shenge Foundation environmental efforts.It also promotes better management of our shoreline and ethical tourism.

Climate Change

To strengthen the Shenge Foundation’s internal capabilities and offer technical support to important partners on a national, regional, and international level in order to promote and offer men, women, and young people in all of their diversity right-based and positive-oriented sexual and reproductive health services and education.

Gender Based Violence

The Shenge Foundation is devoted to helping South African families and children receive high-quality services, with a particular focus on those who are at risk and have experienced abuse, neglect, or exploitation.For this reason, we offer a variety of training courses to industry professionals as well as volunteers who operate in this area.

Child Abuse

To empower and develop people via systematic, organized, primarily experiential learning interventions and practical (vocational) training.Our ultimate goal is to connect them with our development partners through career, educational, or business opportunities by better preparing them for work, study, or entrepreneurship.

Youth Development Skills

The Shenge Foundation launched the “Safe to School – Safe to Home” programs, which guarantee road safety conditions, the installation of reasonable and affordable local traffic improvements, comprehensive road safety education for kids, parents, and the community, and increased enforcement of helmet use, parking restrictions, and speeding.

Transport (Road Safety)

Encourage young women to maintain their virginity by supporting ongoing initiatives that provide food parcels and sanitary pads.Encourage manhood associations.Support other associated traditional and cultural events and provide sponsorship for cultural competitions and performances.

Traditions/ EzamaSiko

Donations and sponsorships are encouraged. Partnerships must be established in accordance with the foundation’s rules and regulations.Donations and sponsorships may come in the form of assets, cash, or any other kind of contribution made specifically to help the foundation achieve its goals.
